My Monday Metrical Musings #300

Like “300” Against AI!

Like David against Goliath
Or the 300 Spartans against Persia
At the historic Battle of Thermopylae
Is our fight now against all things Claude (not Monet)!

AI like Persia then
Appears now to have the upper hand
But that’s only because we allow it
300, 3000, 3 million humans! Reveal your agency!

Wrestle back control
Don’t leave it to the metal
We are made of body and soul
And a mind unfathomable!

Show the AI overlords
That we humans ultimately hold the key
To wisdom, intuition, legacy
In short, longevity

Don’t let AI buy and destroy
Our collective centuries of knowledge
Reducing us to digits and binaries
As they tear and shred our book spinaries

I hope that you agree with me
Let’s take a stand together
For human victory
For machines to serve us into perpetuity!

*Poem “instigated” by the jaw-dropping horror of the revelation that books are bought, fed to AI, then destroyed!
