Now That The Bed’s Been Made…

Now that the bed’s been made
It’s time to sleep in it
Now that the results are out
No need to scream or shout

For there can be no doubt
Your vote is pretty darn loud
You wanted a security blanket
No need for any volley or racket

I hope you can live with your choice
Anyway it’s done, we heard your voice
This result will play itself out in time
We’ll see who was and who wasn’t out of line

For now the bed’s been made
So it’s time to sleep in it
Rest well for the fight’s still ahead
We’ll see you at Heaven (or Hell’s) gate!
