Synapses zapping Morse codes
Neurons firing lightning bolts
Clear across my cortex universe
My restless brain

Untame
Someone please tell me how
To shut down these sounds
Coursing through my skull
So I can rest even for a while
A mirror lake frozen in time
Serene
Silent
Hush
Heaven

Shut my mind
Open the dreamscape
So I may once more find
Sleep that will overtake me and
Satiate
Grant me rest from my wanderings
Inside deep recesses let me disappear
