Another year’s about to go
Which means I’m going to do it again

Planning like mad!
All the
Hopes
Dreams
Ambitions
Poured out like vomit
Onto my notepad
When will I learn to slow it down?
Just focus on one or two things and
Leave the rest out
But I can’t
My mind’s just full of wishes and goals
Many that I know
Will fall not grow
No I’m sorry
I don’t think I’ll learn
It goes again my grain
To plan ahead
I will continue to wrestle
This hefty beast
My future-proofing strategy
To stay ahead and to stay sane
I need lots of things on my
Proverbial dining plate
So bring on the buffet 2025
