Delights Galore
It’s hard to describe
When delights descend
But when it comes
You’re never the same!
Like me this morning
Meeting strangers over coffee
Within half an hour we were deep
Into sharing our life’s longings
Who could imagine such
Serendipity
So unexpected
So divine?
Who would have thought
At my age
I’ll still experience connections
So rich so sublime?
But I did
And I’m grateful
To start this new year
Strong
Linking up with
Like-minded
Wayfinders and feeling I
Belong
There’s a spring in my step
Now that I thought I’d lost
Having tripped badly the past year
Wandering what is the cost?
Now I know it’s possible
I was being prepared to
Appreciate something better
A new challenge a new do
So bring it 2026
I’m readier now for what’s ahead
I’ll take you on and embrace it with
Joy. Patience. Faith!
