Thank You Easter!
Easter has come and gone again
Each time it’s here it stirs within
My heart a song bursting forth
With no words just a longing strong
To bask once more in my Saviour’s embrace
And know that He loves me and took my place
Upon that old rugged cross where lives are wrecked
He sacrificed His life never once holding back
I know my Saviour is risen high
He defeated death and bought my life
With His blood, His love and devotion to me
Even though I from my sin don’t deserve to be free
When I survey the wondrous cross
This past week my tears just issued forth
My floodgates tore open every day
Knowing I’m loved in such a mighty way
Leaves me but only one response
Prostrate on the floor I surrender anon
To live my life in sweet gratitude
For the One who saved me Lord Thank You!
