Filling our days
Hapless
With news of grief
Turning our thoughts
Hopeless
With news of loss
Plundering our hearts
Relentless
Joy to the world
That’s what we desperately need
Today
Joy to the world
A baby born
Yesterday
Two thousand odd
Years
Ago
Lives forever changed
Destinies
Unfold
Bringing Joy To The World
A joy each year
Retold
That’s the Joy
Peace and Hope
Foretold
May it reach the whole
World so we can
Hold
Joy oh Joy
In this our forlorn
World!
