My Monday Metrical Musings #273

Cycling Our Whole Life Through

Each time we cycle
I discover
Wonders and sights
Unusual to behold

People in yellow (above)
Seated on green lawns
The peace that radiates
From them apparent

A different yellow (below)
Not too far away
Celebrating marital union
In a breezy special way

I love these unexpected sights
Thank you son for bringing them
Because if not for you and exercise
Your dad would have missed the sweet life

By the sea that’s now so close to us
I really cannot lie
There’s so much joy to behold when
We see life played out before our eyes

I get to share these cycling moments with you
And the wonderful sea breeze too
More important that we have these together memories
To last our whole life through
